get your mojo on

1. Change Your Attire - yes everyone says don’t judge the book by the cover but when I stopped caring what people thought of how I appeared, in apparel, my outfits, when I stopped caring what people thought, and wore the clothes that I loved to wear but was previously afraid to, I started to get compliments on my outfits, my sense of style, friends asked me for advice on what to wear… And I truly stopped caring what people thought of how I dressed as many of them are so borrrrring - sorry! But it’s kinda true!

2. Dress to Impress Yourself - it takes some time to figure out what you really like and what you’ve been force-fed to like through friends’ and family’s opinions, commercials and magazine ads, celebrities and influencer - and who knows what they’re getting to ‘like’ a product, am I right? So with all this sometimes conflicting feedback its hard to know what You Truly Like. Start with your values. What is important to you (as if this was your last year/day/hour on earth) life is too short to not dress the way you want, express yourself in a way that is you.

3. Eat Right and Exercise - just do it: 30 minute walk, jog, yoga, hike, bike, bounce whatever it is, do one tiny wee half hour everyday, first thing in the morning, after a big glass of filtered water, and some protein, and you will never feel better… and make sure to do it outside as early as possible rain or shine for extra mojo points.

4. Feel Sexy - look, it’s either taboo and virginal, or it’s in-your-face in our society right now, and I’m hear to say sex is normal, there is no right or wrong, everyone does it all the way down to dragonflies and fungi, it’s healthy for you and gives your skin a-glowin’ and your body a flowin’ - yeah baby!! Let’s be comfortable in our skin but also mature enough not to flaunt it down to the moose-knuckle tight pants/bum-out booty shorts/pointy areolas in peeps’ faces. Call me old fashion, I don’t care. Show some dignity in how you display the goods, and I promise you will be taken more seriously.

5. Be in the Moment - you don’t have to meditate, just slow your breathing by focusing on your inhale and exhale, trying to extend them as long as possible with a pause on the uptake. That’s it. That’s meditation: being aware of everything around you including your breathe which is almost impossible to do when you aren’t… ‘present’. Slow down, go in, feel the love - it’s all around you because we are a part of the earthlove! Oh sheeze, now I’m getting all fouffy.
