festival szn: what to actually pack (no cap) 🛸
okay so you're going to a festival. sick.
but are you actually ready or are you gonna be that person borrowing everyone's stuff and wearing the same fit for three days?
we got you. this is the list. don't overthink it.

the fit (this part matters most, obvi)
layers aren't just practical — they're your whole personality arc across the weekend.
morning you is different from 2am you and your outfit should reflect that journey.
the xTra festival formula:
- one oversized statement piece that makes people go "where is that from"
- one le freaq graphic tee for the sweaty afternoon sets
- wide-leg everything — cargo, denim, whatever, just not skinny
- an xTra kitti baby tee for when you want to be cute but make it weird
- a tv dude crop hoodie for the cold hours (it hits different under festival lights)
- a trucker hat because your hair is not going to survive this
- chunky boots or beat-up sneakers — nothing precious
- long socks, always, it's giving
- a crossbody that fits your phone, your card, and nothing else
the golden rule: pick the weirdest piece you own and build around it.
if you feel slightly too much — you're dressed correctly 👽
the fuel (your body is also going to this festival)
nobody talks about this enough and then everyone's dead by day 2:
- electrolyte packets — non-negotiable, you're basically a plant
- protein bars for when food lineups are 45 minutes long
- trail mix with the good stuff (nuts, dark choc, dried mango)
- nut butter packets — sounds weird, tastes like survival
- a banana for morning because you're not as invincible as you think
- reusable water bottle — fill it every time you walk past a tap, every time
- a little instant coffee situation for the morning because the festival coffee is $9 and bad
keepin' it together (the real ones know)
this section is for people who've made mistakes before:
- body wipes — your new best friend, no explanation needed
- dry shampoo — day 2 essential, day 3 lifesaver
- deodorant (spray, not stick, trust)
- hand sani on a carabiner so you actually use it
- an extra hair tie because you will lose yours
- blotting papers for the afternoon when your face gives up
- one extra pair of socks in your bag at all times — this is wisdom

the vibe check
tv dude doesn't pack light. tv dude packs right. le freaq shows up looking like they weren't even trying and somehow they're the most interesting person there. xTra kitti doesn't explain the outfit. you shouldn't either.
show up weird. stay hydrated. dance until your boots are dusty.
if you need more ideas for keeping in tip top dancing fit, we got it covered:
nutritional / fuel:
- adaptogen packets (lion's mane, reishi, ashwagandha) 🍄
- electrolyte drops — not just powder, the good liquid kind
- magnesium glycinate for sleep + muscle recovery
- spirulina tabs for when the food lineup is tragic
- medjool dates + almond butter packets for real energy
- digestive enzymes — festival food is unpredictable 😅
- activated charcoal caps — just in case
- collagen sachets for your morning water
esoteric / vibe protection:
- small crystal or talisman — whatever your thing is 🔮
- palo santo or a mini smoke cleansing bundle
- intention card or journal prompt for the trip
- moon phase tracker or small almanac
- tarot or oracle deck (travel size)
- evil eye charm or protective amulet
- a handwritten note to yourself for the hard moments
- grounding oil or pulse point roller (cedar, vetiver, frankincense)
bonus weird-but-essential:
- a tiny sewing kit — festival fashion emergencies are real
- beeswax earplugs (better than foam for sound quality)
- a physical map of the festival grounds — no signal, no problem — or a portable charger for your phone
because everyone deserves funky fashion, even (especially) in a field 🌿
